The town. The reason for entertainment. The town that keeps our entertainment safe. Your favorite fictional characters from The Great White Way weren’t so fictional, long ago. They are now, locked in a town so they can’t claim their stories. It’s been a peaceful understanding for years- will today be the day the riots start?
This place, known only as “The Town”, is a town hidden away from the modern America and the World. Each play produced on Broadway were real stories, the characters being actual people. But the Government couldn’t allow for beings deemed fictional to be seen by the public - thus, The Town was created.
Every time a new show on Broadway was put out, the people who had been its “characters” were shoved to the town. In order to keep the people’s sense of what was fictional and what wasn’t the exact way the Government wished. They all remember who they are, who put them there, their stories. There’s been a peaceful understanding between The Town’s citizens’ and the Government since The Town’s founding.
But now, strings are being pulled, buttons are being pushed. It’s only a matter of time before everyone breaks. And when they do, what kind of chaos will ensue? How will this change all conceptions of what is and isn’t real?
Only you and your “character” can decide.
